AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES WITH B.IDDLE & ASSOCIATES, INCORPORATED,
RELATING TO VALIDATION OF PERSONNEL PRACTICES IN
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, a. proposed agreement with Biddle & Associates,
Incorporated, for professional services relating to validation of
personnel practices in the City of Alameda has been submitted to
this Council, and the Council is fully informed and aware of the
terms and conditions thereof and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said agreement be entered into
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Biddle & Associates;
Incorporated, and the City of Alameda, for its services in
support of the City's effort to develop and validate practices,
procedures and tests used to select applicants for City employment
and to provide Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) training for
management and personnel staff of City. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of June,
1978, by the following vote, to Wit:
AYES: Councilmen BeckaV, DidmCOt, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
