AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
OF A CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1978-1979
WHEREAS, Section 3-7(c) of the Charter of the City of
Alameda requires the designation of a certified public accountant
to investigate and audit accounts of the City; and
WHEREAS, a proposed contract for the fiscal year 1978-1979
with George A. Hackleman, Certified Public Accountant, has been
submitted to the Council and the Council is fully informed and
aware of the terms and conditions thereof, said contract being
filed with the City Clerk and marked "Filed June 20, 1978;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City
of Alameda that certain contract referred to above by and between
the City and George A. Hackleman for certified public accounting
services for the fiscal year 1978-1979. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of June,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 21st day of June, 1978.
