AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL OF ELLIOTT B.
BALL ASSOCIATES FOR APPRAISAL OF PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda, under the Housing and
Community Development Act (HCDA) allocated certain sums for
the Site Acquisition /Utilization project; and

WHEREAS, said proposal has been reviewed and is accept-
able to the Council;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the proposal of Elliot B. Ball Associates,
dated May 17, 1978, and on file in the office of he City= Clcrk
for appraisal of the City - owned' parcel at Island Drive and
Maitland Drive and the Bruzzone Property (County Parcel Map
Numbers 74- 532 -9, 74- 432 --14, 74- -434 -1 and 74- 436 -26) 9s hereby
accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED hat the fee for said appraisal
shall not exceed $1;675 and is to be paid from HCDA funds,
City Project 68, Site Acquisition /Utilization.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appraisal it to be
completed within 21 days of City's acceptance of the proposal.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of
September, 1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Sherratt, and Tillman, (3).
NOES: Councilman Diament and President Corica, (2).
ABSENT: None.
