AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A REFUSE DISPOSAL
AGREEMENT WITH'ALAMEDA CITY DISPOSAL FOR THE
COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF REFUSE AND GARBAGE
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this Council an
agreement between the City of Alameda and Alameda City Disposal,
a California corporation, for the collection and removal of
refuse and garbage for a period of ten (10) years from
October 1, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents
of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said agreement
should be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said agreement for the collection and removal of
refuse and garbage be entered into, and that the Mayor of the
City be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda, and the City Clerk 1s
authorized to attest to same.
J, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of September,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cpuncilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
