DETERMINING THAT PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENT FOR STREET
IMPROVEMENTS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OE SAN ANTONIO
AVENUE ADJACENT TO PROPERTY AT 1199 NINTH STREET MAY
BE MADE IN TEN OR LESS ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that pursuant to the provisions of Section 5895, Streets and
Highways Code of California, the payment of assessment by the
owner of the parcel of land upon which the cost of work for
street improvements along the south side of an Antonio Avenue
adjacent to property at 1199 Ninth Street is proposed to be
levied, may be made to the Tax Collector of the City of Alameda/
or the Tax Collector of the County of Alameda in not more than
ten (10) annual installments; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the payment of said assess-
men t so deferred shall bear interest at the rate of seven
percent (7 %) per annum, which rate shall begin to run on the
thirty - :first day after confirmation by this Council of the
assessment proposed to be levied upon said parcel bf land, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Certificate of Notice
of Lien filed by the City Engineer' with said Tax Collector of
the City of Alameda /or'County Auditor of the County of Alameda
shall contain provision for such deferred payment.

Was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of October,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
