CONFIRMING REPORT OF CITY ENGINEER UPON COMPLETION
OF WORK ON STREET IMPROVEMENTS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE
OF SAN ANTONIO AVENUE ADJACENT TO PROPERTY AT
1199 NINTH STREET
WHEREAS, on April 4, 1978, this Council adopted its
Resolution No 8878 directing the performance of street improve -
ment work along the south side of San Antonio Avenue adjacent to
property at 1199 Ninth Street by the City Engineer, and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer has caused said work to be
performed and on October 3, 1978, filed his Report thereon
and presented same to this Council for consideration; and
WHEREAS, on September l5; 1978 said City Engineer duly
gave notice of said Report to the affected property owner,
pursuant to Section 5881, Streets and Highways Code of California,
and fixed Tuesday, October 3, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. on said day,; in
the Council Chambers located in the City Hall, Alameda, California,
as the time and place when said Council would hear and pass upon
said Report; together with objections or protests, if any, thereto
which might be raised by said property owner liable to be assessed
for such construction, and
WHEREAS; on October 3, 1978, said hearing was duly held,
and this Council heard, considered and passed upon said Report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Report of the City Engineer upon the completion
of work performed along the south side of San Antonio, Avenue
adjacent to property at 1199 Ninth Street, the cost thereof and
the assessment against the parcel of land proposed to be levied to
pay said cost, be and the same hereby is confirmed as submitted by
the City Engineer.
I', the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
Was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of October,
