Resolution 09000CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO 9000
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
PARCEL MAP NO. 2574 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE
BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (2161 CENTRAL AVENUE - JERRY
SCHWABENLAND, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, there has been presented to this Council a Parcel
Map, designated Parcel Map No. 2574, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of property at
2161 Central Avenue in the City of Alameda by Jerry Schwabenland;
and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned
upon the subdivider constructing and completing certain public
improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into an agreement and
has posted his bond guaranteeing full and faithful performance of
said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said
work performed in accordance therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for the construction and completion
of the improvements in the division of property at 2161 Central
Avenue, designated as Parcel Map No 2574, by Jerry Schwabenland,
be and the same hereby is approved, and the City Manager is
authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $1,400,
guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said agreement, is
hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution'
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 14th day of
November, I978, by the following vote, to wit:
