ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MANUFACTURE AND
INSTALLATION, INCLUDING HARDWARE, OF WINDOW COVERINGS
FOR THE POLICE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City of
Alameda proposals for the manufacture and installation, including
hardware, of window coverings for the Police Administration
Building, No MSP 11-78-3, filed in the office of the City Clerk
on November 21, 1978, be and the same are hereby approved and
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 1978, for furnishing to the City of said
window coverings in accordance with said Specifications and
Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, Proposal for Manufacture and installation
of Window Coverings for the Police Administration Building," or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder
;:0 who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
! reject any or all bids.
The City ClerR is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in
accordance with the provisions of this Resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of November,
1973, by the following vote, to wit:
