CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR AN
AMENDMENT TO THE NOISE ELEMENT OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda proposes to amend its Noise
Element; and
WHEREAS, the City, in compliance with the State Environmental
Quality Act of 1970, as amended, has had prepared an environmental
impact report covering the effects said amendment will have on
the environment; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Board, at its regular meeting
on November 20, 1978, approved a Final Environmental Impact Report
on the City of Alameda Noise Element Amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND CERTIFIED BY TEE COUNCIL
OF THE CITy OF ALAMEDA that said Council has reviewed and con-
sidered the information contained in that certain document prepared
by Ironside and Associates/Planning Consultants entitled, "City
of Alameda Noise Element Amendment EIR, October 6, 1978, with
attachments and comments, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
December 5, 1978, and that said Final Environgental Impact Report
has been completed in compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act and state guidelines.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of December,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman,, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
