Resolution 09041CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 9041 ADOPTING POLICY CONCERNING ADVISORY COMMITTEES WHEREAS, the City Council at times finds it beneficial to appoint Ad Hoc citizens'' committees to study various aspects of the City and make recommendations; and WHEREAS, said committees are expected to report directly to the City Council their findings and recommendations; and WHEREAS, it is not in the best interest of the City for Partial or incomplete studies to be presented to the public by said committees before Council review of .Final reports and recommendations or for members of committees to express individual opinions prior thereto; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that it is the policy directive of the City Council of the City of Alameda that Ad Hoc citizens committees shall individually or collectively make their reports (with or withoi ty opinions) directly to the City Council prior to any oth m of publication thereof and that individual members shall not publish (orally or in writing) committee findings or conclusions, or their own findings or conclusions, prior to the full committee's report (with or without minority opinions) to the City Council. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of February, 1979, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and President Corica, (5).
