AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO. 8969 RELATING TO
FEDERALLY FUNDED POSITIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
Resolution No. "8969, - adopted August 15, 1978, be amended by
deleting two (2) positions of Public Service Employee III (CETA)
and creating one (1) position of Public Service Employee III
(CETA)(HCDA) and one (1) position of Public Service Employee III
(CETA)(Historical Architectural Survey, Account 2613) and
establishing the salaries therefor, as follows:
VACATION AND INTERMITTENT RELIEF, UNALLOCATED
CETA POSITIONS, AND OTHER FEDERALLY FUNDED POSITIONS

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of these
salary resolution amendments shall be January 1, 1979 and that the
appropriate City Departments are hereby authorized to pay said
salaries at the said rate from January 1, 1979.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this resolu-
tion shall supersede those portions of Resolution No 8969, and
of any other resolution in conflict herewith, and all such con-
flicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only,
hereby repealed.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of February, 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Sherratt, Tillman, (3).
NOES: Councilman Diament and President Corica, (2).
ABSENT: None.
