AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH D. JACKSON
FAUSTMAN -AND DOWNTOWN AND NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT
COMMITTEE FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY OF OFF - STREET PARKING
IN PARK STREET BUSINESS DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is authorized and
directed to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of
the City, an agreement with D. Jackson Faustman; Consulting
Traffic Engineer, and the Towntown and Neighborhood Improvement
Committee, which provides for the preparation of, and the payment
for an analysis of the feasibility of providing additional off -
street parking in the central core of the Park Street business
district, said agreement to be substantially in the form of that
heretofore placed on file in the office of the City Clerk and
marked, "Filed, March 13, 1979,"
the undersigned' hereby certify that the foregoing Resol ution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of 'Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 13th day of March,
1979, by the 'following vote, to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5)
NOES, None.
ABSENT: None.
