DESIGNATING THE FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF ALAMEDA,
1912 CENTRAL AVENUE, AS AN ALAMEDA HISTORICAL MONUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that,
upon the recommendation of the Alameda Historical Advisory
Conimission , said Council hereby designates the First Congregational
Church of Alameda, located at 1912 Central Avenue, as an "Alameda
Historical Monument."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list storical Monu-
ments shall read:
1. Alameda City Hall
2. Alameda Theater
3. Alameda High School
4. St. Joseph's Basilica
5. Sanctuary Building of the First Presbyterian Church
6. First Church of Christ, Scientist
7. The Old Post Office Building, 2417 Central Avenue
8. First Congregational Church of Alameda
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of March,
1979, by the following vote, to wit:
