Resolution 09064CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9064 DESIGNATING FIRMS AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM TOWING SERVICES OF ABANDONED AND UNLAWFULLY STORED VEHICLES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that, pursuant to Section 17-385 of the Alameda Municipal Code and in compliance with Sections 22650 through 22658 and 22850 through 22856 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, the follow- ing firms are hereby designated as authorized Persons to perform towing services of stored or abandoned automobiles, trucks and trailers that have been abandoned or unlawfully stored in the City of Alameda: JENKINS BROTHERS TOWING, 537 - 24th Street, Oakland, California, owned by Mr. Vern Montgomery, for the towing of trucks, trailers and other large gross tonnage vehicles. PHELPS AUTO WRECKERS, 2640 Eden Road, San Leandro, California, owned by Larry and Lee Phelps, for the towing of stored and abandoned automobiles and small gross tonnage vehicles. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said designated firms shall file with, and have approved by, the Chief of Police a schedule of charges for said towing services. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City of Alameda Resolution No 9031, adopted by this Council on January 2, 1979, is hereby rescinded in its entirety. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of March, 1979, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and President Corica, (5)',.
