AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT FOR EXTENSION OF
DISTRICT- INSTALLED WATER MAIN
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is authorized to
execute and to attest to respectively, on behalf of the City,
an agreement with East Bay Municipal Utility District which
vides for the extension of an existing District' - installed
water main 'from Fitchburg Avenue on Maitland Drive, along
Maitland Drive to City Line Road, said agreement to be
substantially in the form of that heretofore placed in the Office
of the City Clerk and marked "Filed, March 20, 1979."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment under said agreement
will be made in the same manner that like claims against City are
paid with checks drawn on the treasury of the City, and shall be
payable from Economic Development Act funds, (Project 77 -3 of the
City's 1977 -79 Capital Improvement Program).
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing 'Resolution'
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of March,
1979, by the following vote, to wit:
