AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH INDUSTRIAL
EMPLOYERS AND DISTRIBUTORS ASSOCIATION FOR CONSULTATION
SERVICES RELATING TO EMPLOYER- EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with Industrial Employers
and Distributors Association, a non- profit corporation, for
its services relating to consulting with and advising the City
Council and the City Manager in employer - employee relations
and to assist the City Manager in meeting and conferring in
good faith with representatives of recognized employee organiza-
tions, has been submitted to this Council, and the Council is
fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof;
and
WHEREAS, it is
Alameda that said agreement be entered into;
he best interests of the City of
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that
certain agreement referred to above by and between Industrial
Employers and Distributors Association and the City of Alameda,
for its services relating to employer - employee relations. The
City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.

City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of April,
