AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO P.W. 8-78-8
AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY AND VALLEY CREST LANDSCAPC,
INC. RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION OF WASHINGTON PARE,
PHASE 111, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 9071
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City, an amendment to the
P.W. 8-78-8 agreement dated November 29, 1978, between the City
and Valley Crest Landscape, Inc., said amendment to be suhstan-
\ tially in the form of that on file in the office of the City
Clerk and marked "Filed May 1, 1979," and providing for the
acceptance of and including in the contract the three alternates
for the Washington Park Area B, Phase III Development as con-
tained in said Contractor's proposal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 9071, adopted
on April 3, 1979 is hereby rescinded.
.1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the ist day of May,
1979, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (9).
NOES: ' None.
ABSENT: None.
