ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR SURVEYING AND INSPECTION
OF CITY LINE ROAD SUBMITTED BY JONES-TILLSON &
ASSOCIATES, CIVIL ENGINEERS, AND AUTHORIZING CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SAID FIRM
WEEREAS, the City of Alameda received a $1.4 million
grant from the Economic Development Agency (EDA) for the con-
struction of City Line Road; and
WHEREAS, Jones-Tillson & Associates, Civil Engineers,
have submitted a proposal for inspection and surveying for
said City Line Road Project; and
WHEREAS, said proposal has been reviewed and is accept-
able to this Council;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the proposal of Jones-Tillson & Associates,
dated April 18, 1979, and on file in the office of the City Clerk,
for surveying and inspection services in connection with the con-
struction of City Line Road in the City of Alameda, is hereby
accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to enter into an agreement with Jones-Tillson &
Associates for their services, and the City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to said agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment for said services
shall be from funds allocated to the City by the Economic
Development Administration, Project 07-51-26360.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of May,
1979, by the following vote, to wit:

Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
