AMENDING AGREEMENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTERED
INTO BETWEEN THE CITY AND BIDDLE & ASSOCIATES,
INCORPORATED, BY DESIGNATING PERSONNEL DIRECTOR AS
CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1978, by its Resolution No. 8927, the
City authorized the execution of an agreement with Biddle &
Associates, Incorporated, for its services in connection with
validation of personnel practices in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1978, by its Resolution No. 9013,
the City authorized the execution of an agreement with Biddle &
Associates, Incorporated, for its services in connection with
the development of employment practices and providing EEO train-
ing for management and personnel staff; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney was designated as the City's
appointed representative for the purposes of administering these
contracts with the understanding that the Personnel Director
could be substituted at a later date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Personnel Director be and hereby is designated
as the City's appointed representative for the purposes of
administering the agreements with Biddle & Associates, Incorpor-
ated, authorized on June 6, 1978 and December 5, 1978; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that "Personnel Director" shall be
substituted for City Attorney' in paragraphs 2 and 7 of said
agreements.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly' and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled' on the 19th day of June, 1979, by
the following vote, to wit:
