Resolution 09137CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9137 ACKNOWLEDGING LESSEE'S EXERCISE OF OPTION TO EXTEND LEASE OF CERTAIN TIDE AND SUBMERGED LANDS TO THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY (UNDERWATER FACILITIES ACROSS SAN LEANDRO CHANNEL FROM A POINT ON OTIS DRIVE TO BAY FARM ISLAND) WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1131 New Series, passed by the City Council on July 20, 1954, the City and The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company entered into a lease by said Company of certain City-owned tide and submerged lands, by the terms of which said lease Lessee was granted the right and option to extend same for an additional term of twenty-five (25) years, at the same rent and upon the same terms and conditions as con- tained therein, except the right to extend further7 and WHEREAS, Lessee, on February 14, 1979, notified the City of its exercise of said right and option to extend; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the exercise by said Lessee of its right to extend said lease for an additional twenty-five (25) year term, commencing August 16, 1979 and expiring on August 16, 2004, is hereby acknowledged. * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of August, 1979, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and President Corica, (5).
