REJECTING CLAIM OF ARNOLD B. HAIMS AND TONI R. HAIMS
AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the claim against the City heretofore on August 9, 1979, filed by
Arnold B. Haims and Toni R. Haims, whose address is 1234
Caroline Street, Alameda, CA 94501, be rejected in its entirety
on the grounds said claim is not a proper charge against the
City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection
be in the following words and that a certified copy of this
resolution be mailed to said claimants at 1234 Caroline Street,
Alameda, CA 94501:
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you
presented to the City of Alameda on August 9, 1979,
was rejected on September 4, 1979.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only
six months from the date this notice was per-
sonally delivered or deposited in the mail to
file a court action on this claim. See
Government Code Section 945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your
choice in connection with this matter. If you
desire to consult an attorney, you should do so
immediately."
' I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
Of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of September, 1979,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament" Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: N0De,
ABSENT: None.
