CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO.
DESIGNATING THE OLD MASONIC HALL, LOCATED AT PARK
STREET AND ALAMEDA AVENUE, AS AN ALAMEDA
HISTORICAL MONUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that,
upon the recommendation of the Alameda Historical Advisory
Commission, said Council hereby designates the Old Masonic Hall,
located at Park Street and Alameda Avenue, as an "Alameda
Historical Monument."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list of Historical Monu-
ments shall read:
1. Alameda City Hall
2. Alameda Theater
3. Alameda High School
4. St. Joseph's Basilica
5. Sanctuary Building of the First Presbyterian Church
6. First Church of Christ, Scientist
7. The Old Post Office Building, 2417 Central Avenue
8. First Congregational Church of Alameda
9. Croll Building
10. Old Masonic Hall
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of September, 1979,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and President Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Diament, (1).
