CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9158
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT FOR EXTENSION OF DISTRICT-
INSTALLED WATER MAIN AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 9067 AND AGREEMENT NO. 79-43
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized to
execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City,
an agreement with East Bay Municipal Utility District which
provides for the extension of an existing District-installed
water main from Fitchburg Avenue on Maitland Drive, along
Maitland Drive to City Line Road, said agreement to be designated
"Agreement No. EA 79-43A" and filed with the City Clerk on
September 18, 1979.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment under said agreement
will be made in the same manner that like claims against City are
paid with checks drawn on the treasury of the City, and shall be
payable from Economic Development Act funds, (Project 77-3 of the
City's 1977-79 Capital Improvement Program) and Harbor Bay Isle
Associates Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Agreement No. EA 79-43, dated
April 5, 1979, and Resolution No. 9067 authorizing execution of
said agreement are hereby rescinded in their entirety.

AYES: Councilmen Sherratt, btDne, Tillman, and President Corica, (4).
NOES: None,
