AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATION FOR PROJECT
GRANT UNDER TITLE III OF THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT
TO THE ALAMEDA COUNTY DEPARTMENT ON AGING
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application
to the Alameda County Department on Aging for Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($30,000) in federal funds from Title III of the Older
Americans' Act of 1965, as amended, for general operation and
maintenance costs of operating a Senior Center in the City of
Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
Was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
Of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of October, 1979,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
