Resolution 09171CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9171 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS FOR A COMMUNITY RECREATION BUILDING AND BRANCH LIBRARY AT BAY FARM ISLAND PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEREAS, t and Plans for a C Library at Bay Fa the City Clerk on e Architects have prepared Specifications unity Recreation Building and Branch Island Park, and filed in the office of October 16, 1979; 01 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifications and Plans be, and the same are, hereby approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Specifications be and the same is hereby authorized. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:30 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, November 13, 1979, for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessa for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for a Community Recreation Building and Branch Library at Bay Farm Island Park"or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Plans may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution Was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City Of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of October, 1979, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and President Corica, (5).
