DESIGNATING THE SECOND EMPIRE RESIDENCE AT 2233 SANTA
CLARA AVENUE AS AN ALAMEDA HISTORICAL MONUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that,
upon the recommendation of the Alameda Historical Advisory
Commission, said Council hereby designates the Second Empire
Residence located at 2233 Santa Clara Avenue as an "Alameda
Historical Monument."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list of Historical Monu-
ments shall read:
1. Alameda City Hall
2. Alameda Theater
Alameda High School
St. Joseph's Basilica
5. Sanctuary Building of the First Presbyterian Church
6. First Church of Christ, Scientist
7. The Old Post Office Building, 2417 Central Avenue
8. First Congregational Church of Alameda
9. Croil Building
10. Second Empire Residence at 2233 Santa Clara Avenue

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of November, 1979,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5)
