DESIGNATING THE CITY OF ALAMED4'5 NEW PAR-3
GOLF COURSE THE "MIE" ALBRIGHT PAR-3 GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, "MIF" ALBRIGHT served on the City of Alameda
Golf Commission; and
WHEREAS, he was one of the original members of the
Commission when it was reinstituted in 1973; and
WHEREAS, during his years of service, he demonstrated
his love and dedication to golf in the City of Alameda many times
and in many different ways; and
WHEREAS, in addition being cti,e golfer working
for the betterment lfCourses, he has been a con-
tributing member of the Alameda Mens' Golf Club, the East Bay
Juniors, and the Alameda Commuters' Committee; and
WHEREAS, his particular service and attention to the
Par-3 Golf Course was instrumental in expediting the construction
of the Golf Course;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that because of the tremendous
amount of time and effort that expended in his goal to
accomplish the building of the Par-3 Golf Course, the Alameda City
Council approves naming the Par-3 Golf Course in Alameda the "MIF"
ALBRIGHT Golf Course; and
BE IT FURTHER the Alameda City Council ex-
presses its appreciation for the services "MDF" ALBRIGHT has contributed
to the Community and City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1979,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica; (5)
