AMENDING CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9162
BY AMENDING PAGES 6, 7, 11, and 12 RELATING
TO SALARY INCREASES FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1980.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
Resolution No. 9162, adopted October 2, 1979, is hereby amended.

In addition to normal compensation, individuals in classifications
at the rank of Fire Captain or Fire' Lieutenant on regular assignment
to the Fire Prevention Bureau shall receive a salary differential
of one full step (5 %) per month while so assigned. Individuals
at the rank of Firefighter shall receive a salary differential
of 6% while on such assignment. The Fire Captain assigned to the
Training Division and the Assistant Fire Chief assigned the duties
of an Administrative Assistant Chief shall receive a salary
differential of one full step (5 %) per month.
Battalion Chief - included for pension purposes only.
Positions occupied by participants whom have not exhausted their 18
month tenure. Position will be eliminated when incumbent terminates.
Position will be filled when similar classification under old program
is eliminated.
