AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH LLOYD - THOMAS/
COATS & BURCHARD CO. RELATING TO APPRAISAL SERVICES
AND DECLARING DETERMINATION TO CARRY OUT FERNSIDE
BOULEVARD EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with Lloyd- Thomas /Coats &
Burchard Co, for its services relating, to appraisal of City
property located in the vicinity of Fernside Boulevard for the
extension of said Boulevard has been submitted to this Council,
and the Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and
conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said agreement be entered into
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Lloyd- Thomas /Coats =&
Burchard Co. and the City of Alameda for its services relating
to appraisal of City property. The City Clerk is hereby directed
to attest to same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council determines to
carry out the Fernside Boulevard Extension Project passed by
the voters of the City of, Alameda on March 8, 1977 as Measure E.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of February, 1980,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt - 1
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
