ACKNOWLEDGING GOLF PROFESSIONAL'S EXERCISE OF OPTION
TO RENEW AGREEMENT GRANTING LICENSE TO FURNISH GOLF
PROFESSIONAL AND OTHER SERVICES AT ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
GOLF COURSES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8313 adopted on
February 18, 1975, the City and Jack Cummings, Golf Professional,
entered into an Agreement Granting License to Furnish Golf
Professional and Other Services at the Alameda Municipal Golf
q Courses, by the terms of which agreement said Golf Professional
r was granted the option to renew said agreement for a second five
(5) year term upon agreement of both parties; and
V
WHEREAS, it is mutually advantageous and in the best
public interest that said Agreement be renewed at this time; and
V
WHEREAS, upon completion of the "Mif" Albright Golf Course,
renegotiation of the Agreement with the Golf Professional would
be in the best interests of both parties; and
WHEREAS, Golf Professional has notified the City of his
exercise of said option to renew and indicated his desire to
renegotiatiate the Agreement at a future date;

NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the exercise of said Golf Professional of his
right to renew said Agreement for an additional five year term,
commencing March 1, 1980, and ending February 29, 1985, or upon i
ucompletion of the "Mif" Albright Golf Course, whichever comes
ov? r first, is hereby acknowledged.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of February, 1980,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt - 1
