ESTABLISHING DEADLINES FOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
APPLICATIONS
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65361 states that no
mandatory element of a general plan shall be amended more
frequently than three times during any calendar year and
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized to determine when
such amendments may occur; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has considered the matter and
has made its recommendation to the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the following dates are hereby established by
which General Plan Amendment applications may be received:
March 15
July 15
November 15
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day
of February, 1930, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
