ACCEPTING TERMS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT WITH THE
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS AND
THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME FOR THE
ALAMEDA PUBLIC ACCESS PROJECT
WHEREAS, a proposed cooperative agreement with the
California Department of Boating and Waterways and the California
Department of Fish and Game, setting forth terms and conditions
for development of the Alameda Public Access Project to provide
a small boat ramp and fishing breakwater at the southeast
corner of the Alameda Naval Air Station, has been submitted to
this Council and the Council is fully informed and aware of the
terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby accepts the terms of and
authorizes and directs the Mayor to execute, for and on behalf
of the City of Alameda, that certain agreement referred to above
by and between the State of California Department of Boating and
Waterways, the State of California Department of Fish and Game
and the City of Alameda, for the development of the Alameda
Public Access Project, The City Clerk is hereby directed to
attest to same®
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day
of February, 1980, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
