ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE FROM ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF THIRTY -FOOT STRIP OF LAND EXTENDING FROM
PRESENT END OF WASHINGTON STREET

WHEREAS, that certain conveyance dated
made by the Alameda Unified School District of Alameda County,
a public corporation, to City of Alameda, a municipal corpora-
tion, was on or about said date, executed and delivered by the
Grantor to the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, by said conveyance the Grantor conveyed to the
City of Alameda certain real .. property, which property consists
of approximately 0.309 of an acre of land; more or less
extending from the present end of Washington Street in the City
of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California; and is
more particularly described in said conveyance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforementioned conveyance be and the
same is hereby; accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and
said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said City, hereby
consents to the recordation of said conveyance and orders this
resolution to be attached thereto; as required by Section 27281
of the Government Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day
of April , 1980, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone,
Tillman and President Corica - 5,
NOES; None.
ABSENT: None,
