AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
TO ALAMEDA COUNTY DEPARTMENT ON AGING FOR TITLE III
OLDER AMERICAN ACT FUNDS TO OPERATE A SENIOR CENTER
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application
to the Alameda County Department on Aging for federal funds
from Title III of the Older Americans' Act of 1965, as amended,
for general operation and maintenance costs of operating a
Senior Center in the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day
of April, 1980, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone,
Tillman and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
