ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE;
REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND
DRIVEWAY; AND INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1981, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH
ASPHALT CONCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, num-
bered PW 5- 80-2, and filed with the City Clerk on May 20; 1980;
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT
CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1981, numbered PW 5 -80 -3, and filed with the City Clerk
on May 20, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for the INSTALLATION OF HOUSE
LATERALS from the street laterals to the property line, and other
work appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981,
numbered PW 5-80-1, and filed with the City Clerk on May 20, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour. of.: 11:00 o'clock
on FRIDAY, JUNE 13; 1999, for the furnishing; to the City of
alb labor., materials and equipment necessary for said work, for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions individually prepared therefor.
Bids must be _presented to the City; Clerk, in the City Hall in
Alameda, California, under sealed' cover and plainly marked on the
outside with the designation of the fiscal year work to which
said bid applies.
Contracts, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro -
visions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidd
who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
reject any or all bids

Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any
prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his
office in the City Hall; Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times- Star, a noticC calling for sealed bids in ac or-
dance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the
foregOing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted
and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of May, 1980,
by the following vote, to wit;
