AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF
ALAMEDA AND THE COMMANDING OFFICER, NAVAL AIR STATION,
ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO MUTUAL :AID AND
ASSISTANCE IN FIRE FIGHTING
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Council a proposed
Mutual Firefighting Assistance Agreement by and between the City of
Alameda and the Commanding Officer, Naval Air Station, Alameda,
California, relating to mutual aid in fire fighting between the
respective parties, and
WHEREAS, the Council is familsar with the contents of said
agreements and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said agreement be entered into;
NOW TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager of the City of Alameda be, and
as hereby, ho zed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of
Alameda, that certain agreement by and between the City of Alameda
and the Commanding Officer, Naval Air Station, Alameda, California,
relating to mutual aid and assistance in the fighting of fires
their respective jurisdicti
