AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT CETA TITLE VI
PROJECT PROPOSALS TO THE ALAMEDA COUNTY TRAINING AND
EMPLOYMENT BOARD /ASSOCIATES COMMUNITY ACTION .PROGRAM

WHEREz1s, the Alameda County Training and Employment Board/
Associated Community Action Program (ACTEB /ACAP) has requested
that cities and community based organizations submit applications
for fa la under CETA, Title VI (Projects) for the period
October 1, 1980, to September 30, 1981; and
AS there has been prepared and submitted to this
Council a priority funding list of Fiscal Year 1980 -81 Title VI
City and Community Based Organizations (CBO) Projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the priority "funding list of Fiscal Year 1980 -81
Title VI City and CBO Projects be approved as recommended, the
Comprehensive City Project ranking as first priority followed by
CBO Projects up to a total funding level of $337,738, and the
City Manager be and he hereby is authorized to submit said C±ETA
Title VI Project Proposals to ACTEB /ACAPe.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted
and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of June, 1980,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Stone, and President Corica

ABSENT; Councilman Tillman - 1
