AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MECHANICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE
AT THE POLICE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING TO WESTERN
AIR & REFRIGERATION, INC. AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Mechanical Systems
Maintenance at the Police Administration Building in accordance
with Specifications No. PW 5 -80 - -6 approved June 3, 1980; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Western Air & Refrigeration, Inc. agreeing to
maintain the mechanical systems at the Police Administration
Building in accordance with said Specifications for the sum
of $10,243.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm of Western Air & Refrigeration, Inc. is
a responsible bidder and that the proposal submitted by said
bidder is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Western Air & Re-
frigeration, Inc. be accepted, and the contract for mechanical
systems maintenance at the Police Administration Building in
accordance with Specifications No PW 5 -80 -6 be awarded to said
bidder, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest; said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by
the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 1st day of July, 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None'
ABSENT: None
