AWARDING CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT
CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY TO M. F. MAHER, INC.
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for repair ;of port and cemeia
concrete sidewalk and driveway in accordance witl} Spec.ficati_ons
No. P- 5 -80 -3 approved May 20, 1980; and
WHEREAS, in response to said Notice a sealed bid was
submitted by M. F. Maher, Inc. agreeing to repair'portland cement
concrete sidewalk and driveway in accordance with said Specifi-
cations for the sum of $17,775.00:
NOW THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm of M. F. Maher, Inc. is a responsible
bidder and that the proposal submitted by said bidder is the
lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of M, F. Haber, Inc.
be accepted and the contract for repair of portland cement
concrete sidewalk and driveway in accordance with Specifications
No. PW 5 -80 -3 be awarded to said bidder, and that the Mayor be
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract
on behalf of the City of Alameda
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by
the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 1st day of July, 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None'
ABSENT: None
