AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH
ASPHALT CONCRETE TO BEPCO, INC. AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids or minor street patching with
asphalt concrete in accordance with Specify.cations No.. PW 5 -80 -2
approved May 20, 1980 and
WHEREAS, in response to said not ace a sealed bid was sub -
mitted by Bepco; Inc, agreeing to perform minor street patching
with asphalt concrete in accordance with said Specifications
for the unit price of $1.97 per square foot.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said firm of Bepco, Inc is a responsible
bidder and that the proposal submitted by said bidder is the
lowest and best bid received, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED triat the bid of Bepco, In be
accepted, and the contract for minor street patching with asphalt
concrete in accordance with ;Spec ifications No PW 5 -80 -2 be awarded
to said bidder, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by
the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 1st day of July, 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None'
