Resolution 09327CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO ACKNOWLEDGING LESSEE'S INTENTION AND RIGHT TO REN LEASE OF CITY -OWNED LAND TO THE PORT OF OAKLAND WHEREAS, pursuant to, Ordinance No City of Alameda and the City of Oakland, Board of Port Commissioners, on August 5 lease by said Port of Oakland of certain -ch owned by the City, the right to rene Years, and subject set out therein, except y the terms e for a the s 1154, New Series, the acting by and through its 1955, entered into a tide and submerged lands lease Lessee was granted twenty -five (25) covenants, and conditions as enew further; and HEREAS, Lessee, on intention to renew said Le and des May 23 se, and 1980, notified the City WHEREAS, this Council acknowledges he terms of said lease the right of Lessee to exercise said right of renewal, and res to recognize formally such exercise; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the intention of the City of Oakland, acting by and through its Board of Port Commissioners to exercise its right to renew that certain lease from the City of Alameda of certain tide and submerged lands, said lease executed August 5, 1955,, and amended on April 20, 1977, pursuant to Resolution No 8720, is hereby recognized and acknowledged, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said lease is hereby renewed for an additional period of twenty-five (25) years, commencing August 5, 1980 and ending August 5, 2005. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of July, 1980, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and President Corica - 5.
