AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
SUBDIVISION TRACT 4206 AND APPROVING BONDS AS TO
SUFFICIENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of
the Alameda Municipal Code, Shuwa- Investments Corporation, a
California corporation, owner and subdivider herein, has prepa ed
and presented to this Council the Final Map of the subdivision
known as Tract 4206; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into an agrr
construct and complete the improvements in said subdiv
ha filed the Final Map thereof for approval at this time
has posted its bonds guaranteeing full and faithful perfo
of said work, all in accordance with said Article; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the advantage and benefit of the
City to have said work performed in accordance with said agree -
ment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY Ti-IE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for construction and completion of
the public improvements in said subdivision; and all its terms
and conditions be and hereby is approved, and the City Manager
and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and
attest o, respectively, said agreement on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that he bonds in the sums of
S ,010 000, guaranteeing full and faithful performance of the
subdivi,.der's said public improvements construction contract, are
hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of July, 1980, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
