AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
SUBDIVISION TRACT 4270 AND APPROVING BONDS AS TO
SUFFICIENCY (TERRY LUFKIN, SUBDIVIDER, CENTRAL
AVENUE AND MOUND STREET)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter. 3, T 1 X
of the Alameda .Municipal Code, Terry Lufkin, Sandra
James P. Howard and Mortimer R. Howard, subdividers
have prepared and presented to this Council the Fina
subdivision known as Tract 4270, and

WHEREAS, said Subdividers have entered into an agreement

have filed the Final Map thereof for approval at this time, and
have posted an approved letter of credit guaranteeing full and
faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for construction and completion
of the public improvements in said subdivision, and all its
terms and conditions be, and hereby is approved, and the City
Manager and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute and attest to, respectively, said agreement on behalf
of the City of Alameda.
BE Ir FURTHER RESOLVED that the instrument of credit in
the sum of $178,500, guaranteeing full and faithful performance
of thesubdivider.'s said public improvements construction con-
tra ct, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting. assembled on the 5th day of August, 1980....
