AUTHORIZING GRANT APPLICATION TO THE OFFICE OF
TRAFFIC SAFETY AND EXPENDITURE OF GRANT FUNDS FOR A
SELECTED TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA that said City endorses the proposed Selective Traffi
Enforcement :Program as detailed within the grant application of the
Police Department of the City of Alameda; and
BE IT FORT= R RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized
to endorse and file a form application for federal assistance
through the State Office of Traffic Safety and is further
authorized to accept such funds as may be provide d to the City and
shall apply such funds in conform ity with the terms of the grant,
in furtherance of the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program; and
