FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING A TAX ON, ALL REAL AND
PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1980 -1981
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 0 THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the rate of City taxes to be levied for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 1980 and ending June 30, 1981; upon all property assessed
for taxation within the corporate limits of the City of Alameda
on the basis of the valuation thereof as shown by the assessment
rolls in the office of the City Assessor of said City be, and the
same is hereby, fixed as follows:
1. At the rate computed by dividing the amount
allocated to the City of Alameda by the County of
Alameda, pursuant to Article XII1A of the
California Constitution, out of the Four Dollars
($4.00) per Hundred of assessed value maximum
allowed by Article XIIIA, into the assessed value
on record in both the City Assessor's office and
the County Assessor's office plus ,0112{: per
hundred of assessed value which is an amount
sufficient to cover the principle and interest an
1951 Sewer Bonds, of assessed valuation of said
property on the Secured Roll; and
2 At the rate of :015 on each one hundred dollars
($100) of assessed valuation of said property on
the Unsecured Rolla
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, for the purpose of raising
the necessary revenue for said City for the fiscal year 1980 - -1981,
a tax be and the same is hereby,' fixed and levied on each and
every one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of all
taxable property, real: and personal, within the corporate limits
of said City, as set out in the above tax rate.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of September,1980
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
