Resolution 09377CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 9377 ENDORSING PROPOSITION FOR REFERENDUM OF PERIPHERAL CANAL WHEREAS, the legislature has approved the construction of a forty -three mile canal which would send Sacramento River water to Southern California; and WHEREAS, serious damage may be done to the Delta and San Francisco Bay by loss of the water; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council supports the proposition which places the construction of the peripheral canal on the ballot, I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of September, 1980, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and President Corica - 4.
