APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT
4307 AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED PUBLIC STREETS,
EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF ACCESS
(DIVIDEND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of
the Alameda Municipal Code, there has heretofore been filed
with and approved by the Council a Tentative Map of that certain
proposed subdivision known as Tract 3810 and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1978, this Council approved the
Final Map of Tract 4120, a subdivision of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2
of Tract 3810; and
WHEREAS. Dividend Development Corporation, a California
corporation, subdivider herein, has presented to the Council for
approval a Final Map of that proposed subdivision known as
Tract 4307 which is a subdivision of Lot 67 of Tract 4120, filed
December 15, 1978, in Book 108, Page 17, Alameda County Records;
and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates certain non-exclusive
easements designated "Public Utilities Easement," "Storm Drain
Easement," and "Sanitary Sewer Easement," and parcels of land
known as Channing Way, Windwood Road, Capetown Drive and Crane
Court, dedicated to the public; and rights of access over all of
Parcel B for a Pedestrian Way, and all of Parcel C for purposes
of lagoon maintenance and operations of public safety vehicles
and emergency equipment dedicated to the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of Tract 4307 be and hereby is
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements and parcels of
land dedicated to the public are hereby accepted, on behalf of
the public, for use in conformity with the terms of the offers
, „
of dedication; and said access rights dedicated to the City of
Alameda are hereby accepted on behalf of the City.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in a special meeting assembled
on the 28th of October, 1980, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Til lman and
President C0HCa - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
