Resolution 09424CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9424
AWARDING CONTRACT TO CAKE -DAVIS COMPANY FOR FURNISHING
APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED FORTY -TWO REVOLVERS TO BE
USED FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT (SPECIFICATIONS MSP 11 -80 -1)
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for furnishing one hundred
forty -two (142} Revolvers for law enforcement use in accordance
with Specifications No MSP 11 -80 -1 approved November 4, 1980;
and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid w
by Cake- Davis Company agreeing to furnish said revolvers
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $22,853.98.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF TUE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm of Cake -Davis Company is a responsible
bidder and that the proposal submitted by said bidder is the
lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Cake -Davis Company
be accepted, the contract for furnishing 142 Revolvers for la
enforcement use in accordance with Specifications No„ MSP 11 -9
be awarded to said bidder, and that the Mayor be authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of
the City of Alameda.'
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 2nd day of December, 1980, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
