AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ALAMEDA SHORELINE
PARK (P.w 5 -80 -4) TO COLLISHAW CORPORATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $554,260.00
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published riotice calling for bids for the coristruotion 01 Alarneda
Shoreline Park in accordance with Specifications No P.W. 5 -80 -4
approved October 28, 1980; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub -
mitted by Collishaw Corporation agreeing to construct the Alameda
Shoreline Park in accordance with ' said Specifications for the
sum of $554,260,00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm of Collishaw Corporation is a responsible
bidder and that the proposal submitted by said bidder is the
lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Collishaw Corporation
be accepted, the contract for construction of Alameda Shoreline
Park in accordance with Specifications No. 5 -80 -4 be awarded to
said bidder; and that the Mayor be authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
OD the 16th day of December, 1980, by the following vote, to wit:
AYE 5: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
