COMMENDING MARK J. HANNA FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA UPON HIS RETIREMENT AS CITY ENGINEER
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA acknowledges with ;ride the tenure
of office of MARK J. HANNA, employee of the City of Al am for thirty -five
years.
WHEREAS, Mr. Hanna was first employed by the City on November 1, 1945.
He served as a Jr. Civil Enaineer, Sr. Civil Engineer, agd Chief Design
Engineer, respectively. On March 1, 1953, Mr. Hanna was proudly appointed
City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, he performed in an outstanding and exemplary fashion, displaying
loyalty and dedication throughout his career; and
WHEREAS, MARK J. HANNA has won the respect and admir.tion of friends,
colleagues and the community and will be greatly m ssed ; a11.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda
commends and acknowledges with esteem the years of service rendered by this
faithful employee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the. City of Alameda, his
associates, and friends throughout the community extend. to "`dark" warmest
congratulations, and wish him good health and happiness in the years ahead.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in a special meeting assembled
on the 23rd day of December, 1980, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament,; Sherratt Stone, Til`lcnan and
President Corica - 5.
